About BarryBarry Sheene MBE (11 September 1950 – 10 March 2003) was a British two times World Champion Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. A career stretching from 1968 to 1984 with over 100 Grand Prix starts, 52 podiums and 23 victories, Barry was described as the most influential and charismatic motorcycle rider of all time. In 1984 he retired to Australia with wife Stephanie and children Sidonie and Freddie. Barry died in 2002 from cancer, he was 51. The Estate
